Transportation to Bama Bound, should be made after receiving this confirmation. Formal Parent & Family and Sibling Orientation programs are offered during most summer Bama Bound sessions. We warmly welcome parents, guardians, guests, and siblings who wish to accompany students to their session. Many of the activities incorporated in Parent & Family and Sibling Orientation integrate family members into some of the same workshops as Bama Bound students.

We discourage parent and guest participation in Avanti Orientation Leader meetings and academic advising sessions, to allow each student the opportunity to establish an independent rapport with his or her Avanti Orientation Leader and departmental academic advisor.

Students staying on-campus during their Bama Bound Orientation session will reside in Presidential Village II . Students will enjoy an apartment-style overnight experience with up to three other members of the incoming class. Students will each have a private bedroom within each Presidential apartment suite. Visit the Presidential Village page on the Housing website for more information and visual images of Orientation housing.

Check-in for students staying on-campus during Bama Bound will be between 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Presidential Village II Residence Hall.

If you are staying overnight the night prior to your session begin date, please plan to check into Presidential Village II Residence Hall between 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. on your scheduled date.
